Privacy Policy

The following policy outlines the information TrekSolver, Inc., ("TrekSolver", "we", "our", or "us") collects from end users and how that information can be used by TrekSolver or its customers. "Customer" shall be defined as any individual or organization logging in or using any system (either website or local server) operated by TrekSolver where content can be created or maintained. "End user" shall be defined as any individual or organization downloading or using the TrekSolver app or any other app produced by TrekSolver, Inc.

TrekSolver uses collected data as follows.

  • In an effort to improve user experience with our apps, we may collect non-identifying information about end user's hardware, including but not limited to manufacturer, model number, operating system type and version, and browser type and version if applicable.

  • We reserve the right to ask for identifying information on an opt-in basis for the purposes of improving user experience, informing end users of new locations where our apps are available, or conducting contests. In all such cases, the request for information will be preceded by an explanation of how the information will be used.

  • While our apps enable end users to post images to their social media accounts from within those apps, we do not store or use any identifying information, information on friends or followers, or other information on how those end users use their social media accounts outside of TrekSolver apps.

  • Our site and the services available through TrekSolver are not intended for children under the age of 13. TrekSolver does not knowingly or specifically collect information about children under the age of 13 and believes that children of any age should get their parents' consent before giving out any personal information. We encourage you to participate in your child’s web and app experience.

  • We do not sell any data collected.

  • We do not include advertisements as part of our apps, though customers may include content to promote their own products or the products of third parties.

  • TrekSolver reserves the right to modify this policy as we add new features to our products or as existing products are used by customers for new business purposes.

Since the TrekSolver system is a platform where customers upload their own content and can configure the system to ask end users questions of their choosing, customers are required to abide by the following policies.

  • Customers may ask for an end user's name, but may not require a full name as a condition of playing any mobile experience on a TrekSolver system, with the exception of identifying information requested as part of a contest where registration is required or such information is needed for contacting the winner of such contest.

  • If customers ask for identifying end user information such as email addresses, phone numbers or mailing addresses, the request for information must be preceded by an explanation of how the information will be used.

  • Customers may not share identifying end user information with any third party.

  • Customers may use identifying end user information for the purpose of building or maintaining a mailing or contact list, so long as all communications with end user include information on opting out of the list.

  • Customers may solicit general demographic information for the purpose of aggregating or interpreting data from survey questions.

  • If images uploaded by users may be used for print, online, or social media marketing purposes, customer must disclose those facts at the beginning of the mobile experience either in the description or the initial screens of that particular experience or on a general information page within the app.

  • Customer agrees to remove or delete in a timely manner any image posted to digital media if end user or end user's parents request removal of such image.

  • We reserve the right to discontinue services, entirely or partially, for any customer who fails to comply with this privacy policy.
